Background & Experience

As CEO of NAI Skyway, McAdams brings more than 15 years of retail leasing and sales experience in commercial real estate. Her extensive background includes a multitude of tenant representation assignments for national brands growing their presence in Florida, as well as new to market rollouts.

Highly respected by her peers and clients, she is a creative and astute business person and negotiator who specializes in providing first-in-class tenant representation and owner representation for retail transactions involving shopping centers, ground-up development, pad sites, and land.

After working for other brokerage firms in the Tampa area, McAdams founded a full-service company in 2014 with the goal of filling a void in the marketplace. She quickly built a full-service commercial real estate brokerage firm that catered to entrepreneurs and established businesses that offered an extremely high level of service that was responsive and customer-focused. In 2021, McAdams joined NAI Skyway as a principal for the new NAI Global affiliate office covering Tampa and Southwest Florida.

With extensive knowledge of central and southern Florida, McAdams excels at helping businesses find the perfect locations and properties that make sense for their brand. Whether a concept is entering Florida or requiring expansion in established markets, she is highly skilled at securing locations that meet the exacting needs of companies.

A Tampa Bay Woman of the Year finalist for the Westchase Charitable Foundation, McAdams works with several Tampa Bay area non-profits that help children and families as well as raising funds for children with special needs. Her family time is spent with her four children and her dog. In her free time, she enjoys supporting the Tampa Bay Lightning and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Background & Experience

As Executive Vice President of NAI Skyway, Greg brings three decades of experience in commercial real estate to the table. Prior to joining NAI Skyway in 2023, he worked as a consultant and agent with project experience throughout Central Florida and the Gulf Coast with an emphasis on the Tampa MSA.

Since 2010, Greg has brokered sales and lease transactions for national, regional, and local brands representing retail, food service, office, medical, automotive, and land asset classes. His projects have ranged in size from a 550,000 SF big box-anchored regional center to inline neighborhood centers.

His experience has given him insights into project development throughout Florida and he dedicates his time to helping clients find, evaluate, select, and develop sites into valuable locations for their business, whether they are a corporate entity or entrepreneur with a dream.

Greg has invested his time in several real estate industry groups and is currently serving as the 2023 CCIM West Coast District President. Beyond his work life, family and golf keep him busy.

Background & Experience

Fox brings over 7 years of commercial real estate experience in the Tampa Bay and Southwest Florida market, with a core background in retail leasing and sales. As part of the NAI Skyway team, Fox is a key component of the firm’s Retail and Industrial / Flex divisions, focusing on Landlord and Tenant Representation.

Fox’s retail Tenant representation experience has included assignments with national brands such as Tropical Smoothie Café, Firehouse Subs, Fazoli’s, Mathnasium, and Chicken Salad Chick. He has partnered on multi-unit, market rollouts that have involved touring the market with franchise owners and corporate representatives, mapping out trade areas of interest based on market intel and data, and negotiating deals ranging from leases on spaces in multi-retail centers to owner user purchases of outparcels for development. In Landlord representation assignments, Fox has been involved in negotiating deals with users ranging from national tenants such as Verizon and Chipotle to local and regional businesses as part of the curated tenant mix that fit the property owner and market’s needs. He has been a part of the leasing team on multi-tenant retail properties across Southwest and Central Florida, including the Titus Landing center in Titusville, a 350,000 square foot power center.

In addition to his retail experience, Fox has worked on over 300,000 square feet of industrial leasing in tenant representation. Ranging from flex properties and small bay industrial to large distribution users, Fox’s industrial experience brings a diverse leasing and sales background to the NAI Skyway team.

Fox is a Florida native, having grown up in Jacksonville and moving to Tampa to go to the University of South Florida, where he graduated in 2016. Fox, his wife, their son, and two goldendoodles live in Tampa where they enjoy cheering on the Tampa Bay Lightning and spending their free time at the best dog-friendly venues in town.

Steve Shlemon

With over 8 years of experience in Leasing, Development and Sales, Shlemon has an extensive and diverse commercial real estate background across Florida and the Southeast U.S. As a core member of the retail team at NAI Skyway, Shlemon specializes in restaurant/retail sales and leasing.

Shlemon’s retail tenant representation assignments have included national brands such as Metro Diner, Fords Garage, Tiki Docks, Outback Steakhouse, and more. A creative dealmaker, Shlemon has helped brands of varying sizes significantly grow their market presence, as well as expand into new markets within the Southeast U.S. Currently active in 8 states, he is a trusted adviser to his clients in their expansion efforts, as he understands the needs of the individual businesses in order to support their growth. With a background that includes Tenant and Landlord representation of shopping centers, ground-up development, pad sites, and investment sales, Shlemon is well suited to serve his clients needs through each step of the property’s development cycle.

A multi-generation Tampa native, Shlemon’s family has strong ties to the community and region with an extensive background in restaurants and hospitality. In addition to his commercial real estate experience, he is also the owner of a defense/government contracting business. He graduated from Florida State University in 2012 and currently resides in Channelside, near downtown Tampa.

Andrew Georgelakos, SIOR

Background & Experience

Prior to co-founding NAI Skyway National Partners in 2020, Georgelakos served as President and Managing Partner of NAI KLNB, the largest and most successful privately-held commercial real estate brokerage firm in the Mid-Atlantic region for 17 years. His association with the company extended more than 30 years and while functioning as President, Georgelakos was responsible for the oversight of all real estate brokerage, asset management, and financial services operations. In his last two years at NAI KLNB, Georgelakos led the company to its most successful years in its history with more than $1.5 billion in transactional volume on the strength of more than 1000 transactions.

Under his leadership, KLNB ventured into the emerging Northern Virginia marketplace to open a new office location in the late 1990s, making it the first Baltimore-area commercial brokerage firm to enter this area. This decision significantly changed the arc of the company and stimulated tremendous growth, which was followed by the opening of an additional office in Washington, D.C.

Georgelakos has been an advisor to clients in the acquisition of over one million square feet of space in Southwest Florida.

Georgelakos will leverage his extensive real estate relationships, both in the Florida region and also nationally, to identify and secure new sales and leasing assignments for NAI Skyway. His role will also involve the identification and recruitment of new brokerage talent.

Over the course of his 35-year commercial real estate career, Georgelakos has received numerous recognitions for outstanding service from his peers in the industry. He was awarded the “Transaction of the Year” by the Greater Baltimore Board of Realtors” by Corridor Real Estate Journal, and “Transaction of the Year Award” by the Washington Business Journal for the sale of the WorldCom Headquarters complex in Northern Virginia.

He will maintain his relationships in the Mid-Atlantic, and continue to provide real estate solutions to companies and investors.

Georgelakos and his wife live in Fort Myers and enjoy travel and giving back to the community. He earned his BS at the University of Maryland and his JD from the University of Baltimore.
